Even before the course begins, we help you identify the essence of your training needs.

Each course is created to suit your objectives and requirements and will include the specific media elements relevant to your organisation. Our modules include:

We cover the differences between press and the other media and discuss the techniques used by press journalists in face-to-face and telephone-based press interviews. We then conduct face-to-face and telephone-based 'as live' interviews with each delegate.

The nuances of the radio interview and what to watch out for. We conduct as-live radio interviews with each delegate. Interviews are recorded and reviewed in the group.

We cover the differences between a studio interview, an outside broadcast and a doorstep interview. We discuss the peculiarities of the television interview situation, how to prepare, how to behave and guidance on physical presentation. We conduct as-live television interviews with each delegate. These are reviewed in the group.

A dedicated session on how to work with regional/ national/ trade journalists to get them onside. This is a practical module in how to create a receptive audience for a stream of positive PR messages and equally importantly to be a key component of any crisis management strategy.

After the course, delegates receive written feedback on their strengths and areas for improvement. We also offer free post-course advice and regularly hear from past delegates and are glad to offer help with upcoming media interviews.

We are specialists in helping people to come across as professional, credible spokespeople for their brand and the skills we teach are transferable to many other areas of business. To complement our media training we offer:

Voice coaching/public speaking training - one to one coaching or small groups

Advanced presentation skills training - using key skills to deliver outstanding presentations
Studio tours - behind the scenes tours of venues such as the BBC Television Centre
